Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee all financial and administrative functions within our organization. Responsibilities Manage full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or similar systems. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards where applicable. Process payroll accurately and timely while maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Reconcile accounts regularly through detailed account analysis, journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation. Oversee administrative functions such as managing office supplies, coordinating vendor relationships, scheduling appointments, and supporting organizational operations. Maintain meticulous financial records using spreadsheets and financial report writing to support budgeting efforts and financial planning. Ensure adherence to accounting standards by performing account analysis, account reconciliation, and internal audits to uphold data integrity across all financial systems. Requirements Proven experience as a bookkeeper or office manager with strong knowledge of accounting principles including debits & credits, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, or similar platforms; experience with Quicken is a plus. Familiarity with governmental or non-profit accounting practices is highly desirable. Strong skills in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), bank reconciliation, account analysis, and financial report writing. Ability to perform technical accounting tasks such as balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting with precision. Experience processing payroll and managing accounts payable/receivable efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; 10 key typing skills are preferred. Knowledge of GAAP standards and governmental accounting concepts to ensure compliance across all financial activities.
