Job Description
Family Acupuncture Maryland (FAM) is a growing acupuncture & herbal medicine practice in Columbia, MD that supports the health & wellness of the people of Howard County and surrounding areas. We're looking for a Rockstar Front Office Administrator to support a growing, multifaceted, patient-centered integrative medicine office. The tasks and responsibilities of this position will vary from week to week and can involve such tasks as answering the phone, tracking administrative details, reconciling insurance payments, posting on social media, greeting and assisting patients and light cleaning. Your vocabulary doesn't include "that is not my job." You should be a skilled and adaptable problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is autonomous, can follow directions with ease and might be considered a jack/jill-of-all-trades as this role and its tasks are ever-changing. You love the telephone and find real joy in laughing and socializing with patients, making them feel like the only person in the room. You are authentic, outgoing, good with adults & kids, and ready to commit for the long haul. There is unlimited growth potential. The more you can bring to the table, the quicker this can happen. 20+ hours per week with major holidays off (rare weekend commitments when we are present at community events). • Regular reviews with performance-based bonuses & raises. • Starting pay: $18-24/hour.
