#HIVI Are you a detail-oriented finance or business professional looking to make a meaningful impact in your local community? High View Rehab & Living Center in scenic Madawaska, Maine, is seeking a hands-on, organized Business Office Manager (BOM) to oversee our financial, billing, and administrative office operations. In this vital leadership role, you will manage resident accounts, billing (Medicare, Medicaid/MaineCare, Private Pay, and Insurance), payroll, and human resources onboarding. You'll serve as a warm, approachable liaison for our residents, their families, and our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities Billing & Collections:
Oversee the monthly billing cycle, including Medicare, MaineCare, private insurance, and private pay billing. Monitor accounts receivable (A/R) and manage collections to maintain financial health.
Resident Trust Accounts:
Manage resident trust accounts in full compliance with state and federal regulations.
Onboarding & HR Support:
Assist with local staff onboarding, payroll processing, personnel files, and benefit administration.
Financial Counseling:
Meet with residents and their families to guide them through financial options, long-term care insurance, and the MaineCare application process.
Office Operations:
Oversee daily front-office functions, petty cash, mail distribution, and administrative coordination across departments.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Preferred 2+ years of business office management, bookkeeping, or healthcare billing experience (Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred).
Billing Knowledge:
Preferred Working knowledge of Medicare, MaineCare (Medicaid), and commercial health insurance processing.
Communication:
Exceptional organization, numerical accuracy, and empathetic communication skills when working with residents and families.
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
