#Seal Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Business Office Manager to lead the administrative and operational functions within a busy healthcare practice. This role is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in medical office management, fiscal oversight, and team supervision, all while demonstrating a passion for healthcare excellence. As the backbone of our practice's administrative success, you will coordinate financial management, oversee medical records and billing processes, and lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Duties Manage daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, billing, coding, and medical records management using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks. Oversee fiscal management activities including budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring revenue cycle efficiency through accurate medical billing and collections. Supervise healthcare staff including administrative support personnel, nurses, and other clinical team members to promote high performance and excellent patient service. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and state/federal health policies by implementing appropriate policies and training programs. Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, staff training, performance evaluations, and managing employee relations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare practice management software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft to optimize clinic workflows. Monitor quality assurance metrics related to medical records accuracy, patient management software utilization, and overall clinic efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice administration with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare regulations. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams within a healthcare setting. Extensive knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle processes. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with patient management software is essential. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, medical billing procedures, and health regulation policies. Excellent managerial communication skills paired with outstanding customer service abilities to foster a positive environment for staff and patients alike. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Experience working within dental clinics or acute care settings is highly desirable; veterinary or hospital experience is a plus.
