Green Shield Pest Solutions is looking for an exceptional Office Manager to help lead our growing team and strengthen the systems behind an outstanding customer and employee experience. This is not a traditional administrative position, and it is not a corporate job where your ideas disappear into layers of management. You'll work directly with engaged, accessible owners who genuinely care about their employees, customers, and community. Green Shield is a locally owned, family-operated pest control company built on exceptional service and strong relationships. Office Manager Responsible For Lead and Develop the Office Team Lead, coach, and hold office employees and office specialists accountable. Conduct performance reviews and use KPIs to improve results. Foster a positive, professional, and accountable workplace culture. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development. Oversee Daily Office Operations Ensure the office operates efficiently while overseeing staffing, schedules, timecards, PTO, and daily workflows. Maintain office organization, supplies, inventory, and facilities. Step in on phones during busy periods while keeping operations running smoothly. Leverage technology, automation, and AI to improve efficiency and eliminate repetitive work. Manage Scheduling & Service Coordination Oversee technician scheduling, routing, capacity planning, and service-team communication. Work with sales and service leaders to ensure customer commitments can be delivered. Identify scheduling bottlenecks and proactively solve operational challenges. Improve Systems & Accountability Build efficient, repeatable systems that help the business grow without sacrificing quality. Monitor KPIs, reports, deadlines, and department performance to drive accountability. Use technology and data to improve productivity, communication, and decision-making. Protect the Customer Experience Communicate with empathy, confidence, and professionalism to de-escalate challenging customer situations while protecting company policies, strengthening customer relationships, and helping retain long-term customers. Coach office staff on effective communication, conflict resolution, and customer-service techniques that build trust and confidence with every interaction. Office Manager Qualifications Previous experience leading an office, customer service team, scheduling department, or service-based operation. Demonstrated experience supervising employees and improving performance. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Highly proficient with business software, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and cloud-based applications, with the ability to quickly learn new technology and AI tools. Ability to prioritize independently and remain composed during busy periods. High school diploma or equivalent required. Management experience in pest control, home services, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, lawn care, healthcare scheduling, hospitality, logistics, or another route-based service business is valuable but not required. A college degree is welcome but not required. We care more about leadership ability, judgment, reliability, and demonstrated results than a particular educational path. What We Offer Competitive salary of $55,000
  • 65,000 , based on experience and leadership ability.
