Job Description

ANTRIM COUNTY - OFFICE MANAGER & VICTIM RIGHTS COORDINATOR

Antrim County is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Office Manager & Victim Rights Coordinator to join the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. This is a full-time, non-union, at-will position working 40 hours per week. The Office Manager & Victim Rights Coordinator provides direct support, information, advocacy, and referrals to victims and witnesses throughout the criminal justice process. Responsibilities include keeping victims informed of case status, court dates, motions, plea offers, and dispositions; assisting with victim impact statements, restitution, and crime victim compensation; accompanying and supporting victims in court; and coordinating services with prosecutors, law enforcement, courts, social service agencies, and community organizations. The position also performs office management and administrative duties, assists attorneys and clerical staff, coordinates victim services, and is responsible for program budgeting, grant applications, reporting, and monitoring of funding.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Coursework or experience in social work, criminal justice, sociology, psychology, counseling, or crisis intervention is helpful. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines, and an understanding of trauma and victimization issues. Word processing and database experience is preferred. A valid Michigan driver's license, or eligibility to obtain one, is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting wage: $24.47 per hour 3-year graduated wage scale Full-time, 40 hours per week Non-union, at-will position Medical, dental, vacation/personal time, and other Antrim County benefits This position involves working in a busy and sometimes stressful environment and requires professionalism, discretion, compassion, and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
