We are Livingston County's fastest growing premier outdoor services company located in Brighton, Michigan. Our family owned & operated business has been built upon the principles of honesty, responsiveness, and dependability. We proudly serve Livingston and Oakland County providing industry leading retaining walls, excavation & grading, landscaping, hardscaping, hydro seeding, sod installation, drainage systems, and snow removal for both residential and commercial customers. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to serve as the backbone of our landscaping operations in Brighton, MI. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, the primary support for our field crews, and the coordinator of daily office logistics. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, seasonal industry and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer & Lead Management:

Greet clients, manage high-volume phone calls, and respond to web inquiries. Assign incoming leads to the sales or design departments and follow up with potential clients.

Operational Support:

Coordinate communication between office staff and field crews. Prepare job packets, including work tickets, design plans, and safety manuals for crews.

Scheduling & Logistics:

Manage the company calendar, including client consultations, service appointments, and crew routing. Log tickets with local utilities (e.g., Miss DIG) for upcoming excavation or landscaping jobs.

Financial Administration:

Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using software like QuickBooks. This includes processing invoices, receiving payments, managing accounts payable/receivable, and preparing weekly work reports.

Inventory & Vendor Relations:

Track and order office and safety supplies (e.g., uniforms, PPE). Maintain relationships with vendors and manage/monitor material prices.

General Office Oversight:

Maintain an organized and professional workspace. Support HR tasks such as onboarding new seasonal employees and tracking employee payroll & records. Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

Recent high school graduates or college students welcome. Prior experience in landscaping orcustomer centric industries is highly preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

Expert use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks. Familiarity with industry-specific CRM software (e.g., Aspire, LMN) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to problem-solve independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional client interactions.

Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

From $18.00 per hour
