About Us Lakeland Mills has been making rustic cedar and log furniture in West Michigan since 1928. We're a small, family-owned manufacturer, and we're growing. The Role We need an organized, detail-oriented, sharp Office Administrator to run the paperwork side of our order pipeline, as well as to manage the day-to-day operations of our office. You'll work closely with QuickBooks daily to input and track orders but this is not a full-charge bookkeeping role. If you're comfortable in QuickBooks and like keeping a busy operation organized, this is built for you. What You'll Do Process incoming sales orders (phone, email, and online) — confirm pricing and inventory, then enter orders accurately to generate production tickets Provide customer service support by responding to inquires about order status, shipping timelines, and product questions Answer and route calls, manage office records and supplies, and support employee relations / human resources functions Additional administrative responsibilities, as assigned What You Bring 3+ years of administrative experience, manufacturing or distribution background preferred Solid, hands-on QuickBooks experience (order processing) Comfortable in Microsoft Excel and everyday email / office tools Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy, hands-on facility High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree in business is a plus, not a requirement Benefits Dental and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance Why Lakeland Mills You'll know the people you work with, see the product you help ship, and have a direct line to ownership — not layers of management between you and a decision.
