Heritage Health Food, a manufacturer of frozen vegetarian foods, is accepting applications for a full-time general production worker who would work in packing and/or production. Hours are Monday-Thursday from 5:30 am through 4:00 pm. As a General Worker, your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity. Assume an active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor. Follow all company safety rules Could be assigned to the production of products, packing finished goods, or mixing ingredients Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel and work as a team Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems is an asset Strong verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to do simple math accurately Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a production type situation where you would need to bend and do light lifting of less than 50 lb.
