Job Description
Description We are looking for an organized Office Manager to support daily business operations in Michigan. This role combines front-office coordination with accounting and administrative support in a construction-focused environment. The ideal candidate will keep office processes running efficiently, manage financial records with accuracy, and provide dependable support to staff, vendors, and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day office operations, ensuring administrative activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Manage purchasing for office materials and track inventory levels to keep essential supplies available at all times.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including processing invoices, monitoring payments, and maintaining complete records.
- Handle payroll-related tasks and assist with routine bookkeeping to support accurate financial reporting.
- Welcome visitors, answer incoming calls, and provide attentive front-desk support for internal teams and external contacts.
- Maintain organized documentation and office files, including records related to construction projects and general business operations.
- Assist with work-in-progress tracking and help keep project-related financial information current and accessible.
- Use ComputerEase and other office systems to enter data, update records, and support administrative and accounting workflows. Requirements
- Experience in office management, administrative support, or a similar business operations role.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and payroll processing.
- Ability to manage office supply ordering and maintain an organized administrative environment.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to support reception and customer-facing responsibilities.
- Familiarity with construction office processes and project-related documentation is preferred.
- Experience using ComputerEase or comparable accounting and office management software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
