Description About you Bloom Animal Hospital is looking for a Office Manager to join our Dermatology and General Practice team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Livonia, MI. As an Office Manager, you will partner with the Area Business Manager to ensure the clinic operates efficiently while maintaining a positive team culture. The Office Manager provides day-to-day operational support and assists with team guidance. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive team culture, ensuring smooth clinic workflows, and helping deliver high-quality patient and client experiences. The Office Manager assists with staff support and oversight, including interviewing, coaching, performance management, and scheduling. Leadership & Team Development Coach, mentor, and support team members to encourage professional growth. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees. Participate in performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and employee development. Help reinforce company policies, procedures, and accountability. Lead regular staff meetings and communicate operational updates. Serve as the primary point of contact for team members and doctors. Operations & Administration Process payroll accurately and on time. Monitor inventory levels and oversee inventory control processes. Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain employee records. Process invoices, bills, and other financial documents. Generate operational reports and assist with practice performance tracking. Support scheduling and day-to-day clinic operations. Hands-On Leadership This is a working manager position. You'll spend more than half of your scheduled time supporting daily clinic operations while leading by example and helping your team succeed. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving ability Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or supervisory experience strongly desired. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across teams. Proficiency with scheduling, timekeeping, and basic computer applications. Commitment to upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and patient/client service standards. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in the veterinary field, 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience. 1+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (direct patient care) - Preferred
