Job Description
Job Summary The Office Manager at Huron Valley Athletic Complex plays a vital role in overseeing daily operations, staff support, and administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of the facility. This salaried position involves collaborating closely with the Director of Sports and Programming, as well as other Sports Directors, to manage various operational aspects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive team attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage both staff and financial records effectively. Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization within the athletic complex. Support and coordinate with the Director of Sports and Programming and other Sports Directors on operational needs. Manage hourly, part-time staff, and independent contractors, providing leadership and support as needed. Assist in managing financial records; experience in this area is preferred but not required. Maintain a positive team environment by fostering collaboration and effective communication among staff members. Handle administrative tasks related to scheduling, correspondence, and facility management. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures while supporting overall facility goals. Adapt work hours as needed to meet the operational demands of the athletic complex. Requirements Proven experience in office management or administrative roles; managing financial records is a plus but not mandatory. Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate staff. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork. Ability to work flexible hours as required by the facility's operational needs. Effective communication skills for liaising with staff, contractors, and external partners.
