Job Description

Overview We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. This role combines comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities with office management duties, ensuring the smooth financial operations and administrative efficiency of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, proficiency with various financial software, and excellent organizational skills to support our environment. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger using Sage accounting software Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements for internal use and external reporting. Perform journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliations with precision and attention to detail. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Manage office operations including administrative tasks, vendor relations, record keeping, and supporting staff as needed. Facilitate payroll processing using third party administrator, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments. Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, supporting documentation, and audit trails for transparency and accountability. Requirements Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage; experience with financial software like Spreadsheets is essential. Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation. Experience with accounts payable/receivable management. Knowledge of technical accounting principles and concepts including bank reconciliation. Strong organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail.
