Job Description

Overview BK Law Group is a dominant and forever growing Minnesota law firm focused on criminal defense and personal injury. We are looking for a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Office Manager to oversee the firm's daily administrative operations and help our attorneys and staff work efficiently. This is a key leadership position within the firm. The ideal candidate takes ownership, communicates clearly, solves problems independently, and is comfortable holding team members accountable. Duties Oversee the firm's daily administrative and office operations Manage, support, and help hold employees accountable Coordinate employee schedules, time-off requests, and office coverage Monitor client intake procedures and ensure leads receive prompt follow-up Maintain organized workflows, internal procedures, and office systems Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Monitor deadlines, assignments, and outstanding administrative tasks Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, intake staff, vendors, and outside partners Review office expenses, invoices, supplies, and vendor relationships Help manage client-service issues and ensure professional communication Maintain confidentiality regarding client matters, personnel, and firm finances Identify operational problems and recommend practical solutions Assist the managing partners with special projects and firm-growth initiatives Qualifications At least one year of office-management, operations, or administrative leadership experience Prior law-firm experience is strongly preferred Experience supervising employees and managing competing priorities Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Professional judgment and the ability to handle confidential information Comfortable giving direction and following up when expectations are not met Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and modern office technology Experience with legal case-management or CRM software is a plus Criminal-defense or personal-injury experience is a significant plus What We Are Looking For The right person will be: Proactive rather than reactive Organized and detail-oriented Confident managing people and workflows Calm under pressure Reliable and accountable Comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment Focused on improving both client service and internal efficiency
Pay:
Up to $90,000.00 per year
