Job Overview EK Johnson Construction LLC is looking for a dependable and proactive Office Manager to support the daily operations of our growing residential construction firm. This vital role combines administrative coordination, bookkeeping, customer communication, and project logistics support. As the organizational cornerstone of our office, you'll assist project managers, maintain accurate records, order materials, and act as a direct point of contact for client communications. Candidates with social media and marketing experience will also have opportunities to contribute to brand visibility and outreach.   • Provide administrative support to project managers and the business owner ensuring timely coordination and documentation.
  • Assist with ordering materials and managing delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
  • Manage vendor accounts including accounts payable, insurance certificates, W-9 forms, 1099's and lien waivers
  • Solicit and compile bids from subcontractors and suppliers while assisting the business owner with estimating and future project proposals
  • Manage company payroll and benefits accounts.
  • Organize and track documentation related to permits, inspections, invoices, and vendor contracts.
  • Run occasional errands or deliveries as needed - must have a valid driver's license.
  • Support general office duties, including file organization, supplies management, correspondence and assisting the business owner and project manager with production needs
  • Help ensure smooth project execution by tracking tasks, deadlines, and communications.
  • Post updates and promotional content to company social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). Qualifications
  • 5 or more years experience in construction administration, office management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting basic computer, software, printer, and office technology issues while helping maintain the company's software systems.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential financial and employee information.
  • Social media and basic marketing knowledge are a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic office setting.
