This position requires 10+ years of experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Interact and communicate with clients, vendors and staff of all levels Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs Track multiple projects simultaneously to keep jobs on schedule and under budget Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations Prepare and write engineering and other reports Maintain and develop strong client relationships Develop business in the Illinois, Missouri or Arkansas region Field visits on rough terrain per project needs Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience working directly with the Illinois Department of Transportation, Missouri Department of Transportation or Arkansas Department of Transportation and local municipalities Existing business development relationships Licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Missouri or Arkansas Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word) Experience using at least one CADD platform (MicroStation or AutoCAD) Knowledge of at least one highway design package (OpenRoads, Geopak, or Civil3D) Critical thinking and analysis Must possess a valid driver's license Must complete a background check
