Job Description

Job Overview Self motivated individual with high level inter personal communication skills to manage day-to-day operations of a highly efficient optometric practice, with staff ranging between 15 and 20 members, seasonally. Must be able to provide employee reviews using constructive criticism with appropriate demeanor, and implement a staff improvement system. Must be able to create and modify staff schedules for a busy, growing practice, and will be involved in the process of employee hiring, as needed. Must be able to receive and resolve staff and patient complaints fairly and compassionately. Hiring decision will be made on work experience and especially experience in the eye care industry. Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal functioning Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, and staff at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service and professional phone etiquette Manage multi-line phone systems, direct calls efficiently, and handle inquiries with clarity and professionalism Support administrative functions including client communication, email correspondence, and clerical support to various departments Requirements Proven experience in the eyecare industry Technical proficiency with computer literacy including data entry, file management, and document proofreading Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence and professional phone etiquette
Pay:
$25.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
