Non-Exempt Reports to: Director of Finance and Human Resources About Metro Logics, Inc. Metro Logics, Inc. (Metro) is a privately owned third-party logistics company based in Olive Branch, MS, with additional facilities in Nevada and Utah. We provide warehousing and rapid distribution services for perishable foods, pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and medical supplies. Metro manages highly regulated, temperature controlled, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliant warehouses. About the role Metro is seeking a highly organized and proactive full-time Office Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our corporate office across administrative, bookkeeping, and human resources functions. This role reports directly to the Director of Finance & Human Resources and plays a key role in maintaining an efficient, professional, and welcoming workplace environment. The responsibilities outlined below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities. Responsibilities General Office Management Duties Serve as the primary front desk representative, professionally welcoming and assisting guests, vendors, and visitors while ensuring proper sign-in, credentialing, and escort procedures are followed Coordinate office events and employee engagement activities Manage general office operations including supply ordering, inventory management, and workspace organization Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries Administrative Support Provide administrative support to the Finance team, including invoice processing, documentation, and follow-up activities Support Human Resources functions including employee onboarding and offboarding, training coordination, performance review administration, and basic payroll-related support Prepare meeting materials and coordinate logistics for leadership meetings, team huddles, and other internal events Executive Leadership Support Provide administrative support to senior leadership, including travel coordination, confirmation and itinerary preparation Manage travel expense reconciliation Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and background information in advance of meetings Attend select meetings to capture notes, decisions, and action items, and tracks follow-through to completion Conduct research and prepares summaries on topics assigned by the President or COO Perform time-sensitive errands and procurement duties, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of assigned tasks Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's or associate's degree preferred Minimum of five years of relevant bookkeeping and/or executive support experience, ideally in a multi-site operating business Strong, demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern collaboration tools Skills Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment Professional presence and the ability to interact credibly with government clients, banking and legal partners, and senior leaders Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively Highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality, including the ability to exercise discretion with sensitive information Physical Requirements Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard and monitor. Regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, talk and hear. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Additional Qualifying Factors Must have a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
