Join our team at Missoula BoneJoint and Surgery Center as a Business Office Float working in our busy Clinic. This exciting opportunity allows you to work onsite at our modern facility in Missoula, MT, where you'll interact directly with patients and medical staff to ensure a seamless experience for all. As a problem solver and customer-focused individual, you'll find this role both rewarding and challenging as you contribute to the excellence and integrity of our practice. With competitive pay ranging from $21.00 - $30.00 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications, this position offers a chance to grow in a professional yet fun and flexible work environment. This position is 20 hours per week with the ability to flex up to 40 hours per week. The schedule Monday - Friday and is variable and based on departmental needs. and be a part of our dynamic team!

Your day as a Business Office Float As a Business Office Float, you will support multiple business office functions, including insurance verification, pre-authorizations, patient accounts, cashiering, financial counseling, charge entry, and compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Red Flag Rules, as well as other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable by payer and financial class, prioritizing high-dollar and aging balances, following up on unpaid or underpaid claims, reviewing EOBs/ERAs, correcting and resubmitting claims, preparing appeals, and tracking outcomes to reduce recurring denials. You will also foster positive relationships with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and the public while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
