Description Office Administrator Southern Home Services is a residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical company that acquires, owns, and operates businesses around the United States. A+ Heating & Cooling, a Southern Home Services Company, is looking for a dynamic- Office Administrator to join a thriving business that believes in work life balance and cares about YOU! In this role, you will be responsible for: Managing daily office operations and ensuring the workplace runs efficiently. Answering phone calls, and emails. Scheduling appointments. Organizing and maintaining office files, records, and documents. Preparing reports, letters, and other correspondence. Ordering and managing office supplies and equipment. Handling incoming and outgoing mail and courier services. Maintaining databases and updating company records. Assisting with basic bookkeeping, invoicing, or expense tracking. Supporting HR tasks such as onboarding, attendance records, and employee documentation. Ensuring office policies and procedures are followed. Maintaining confidentiality of company information. Providing general administrative support to managers and staff. Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-year administrative or customer service experience in an office setting is required Ability to easily cultivate strong rapport with customers and co-workers Find it rewarding to organize, prioritize and manage time effectively to see a task through to completion Work well independently & with integrity in a structured yet relaxed environment Enjoy patiently, empathetically helping others Excellent written and verbal communication skills This is a Non-Exempt position. The physical requirements of this job include: Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual work station or office Communicate verbally via phone or other communication device. Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone Use hands to type, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 10 pounds. Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment.
