Job Description
Regional Business Office Manager (SNF) We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Regional Business Office Manager to oversee the financial and business office operations of multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong SNF billing and collections experience who can support facility-level Business Office Managers, improve processes, and drive financial performance across the region. The Regional Business Office Manager will work closely with facility leadership and corporate teams to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, regulatory compliance, and effective management of accounts receivable. Responsibilities Provide leadership, training, and ongoing support to Business Office Managers across assigned Skilled Nursing Facilities Oversee accounts receivable, billing, collections, cash posting, and resident account processes Monitor facility A/R performance, aging reports, collection activity, and outstanding balances Identify collection challenges and develop action plans to reduce outstanding A/R Ensure timely and accurate billing for Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, commercial insurance, and private-pay residents Assist facilities with Medicaid pending accounts, eligibility issues, authorizations, denials, and payment discrepancies Review month-end reports and ensure business office deadlines are consistently met Conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies Train and mentor new and existing Business Office Managers and assist with onboarding when necessary Partner with Administrators, Admissions, Finance, and other departments to resolve billing and collection issues Monitor census and payer information to ensure resident financial records are accurate Assist with challenging accounts and escalated collection matters Implement best practices and standardized business office procedures throughout the region Travel to assigned facilities as needed Qualifications 3+ years of Business Office experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility required Previous multi-facility, regional, or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, private pay, and third-party billing Thorough understanding of SNF accounts receivable and collections Experience with Medicaid applications and pending accounts preferred Strong analytical skills with the ability to review A/R reports and identify areas requiring action Excellent leadership, training, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple facilities and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency with SNF billing software and Microsoft Excel Ability to travel between assigned facilities as needed What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off Supportive leadership team Opportunities for professional growth and advancement The opportunity to make a direct impact across multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities If you are an experienced SNF Business Office professional ready to take the next step into a regional leadership role, we want to hear from you.
