Job Summary:
The Senior Business Management Specialist, US Operations Compliance, serves as key support to the Head of Business Management, Training and Strategy and provides direct, day‑to‑day support to the US Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). This role is critical to enabling the execution of strategic, operational, governance, and regulatory priorities across US Compliance and the broader enterprise. The position focuses on operational management, strategic prioritization, leadership and Board-level reporting, regulatory preparedness, and cross‑functional coordination. The role requires the ability to translate executive objectives, regulatory expectations, and complex operational inputs into clear, structured plans, executive insights, and high‑quality deliverables that drive informed decision‑making. Advanced PowerPoint expertise is a core requirement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and refining executive‑level presentations for regulators, the Board of Directors, and senior leadership, translating complex regulatory, risk, and operational topics into concise, accurate, and visually polished materials. This role requires strong judgment, exceptional attention to detail, executive presence, and the ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, highly scrutinized regulatory environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can "connect the dots," establish structure where ambiguity exists, and drive consistency and operational excellence across US Compliance. Strong communication skills are essential , as this role requires collaboration with multiple departments and the ability to convey complex information clearly to senior and executive audiences. Robust organizational and technical skills are also required in this role as the candidate would be responsible for synthesizing complex inputs, maintaining structured management routines, and producing high-quality executive materials and reporting. Support the Head of Business Management in advancing priorities, operational and regulatory execution, and leadership commitments, while providing coordinated support to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) through preparation of materials, insights, and reporting Lead the Strategic Prioritization process for US Compliance by developing strategic plans, identifying organization strengths, weaknesses and business opportunities, and supporting alignment to Compliance leadership and enterprise objectives Develop, refine, and own visually effective PowerPoint materials, demonstrating advanced proficiency in executive storytelling, document structuring, and production of polished, regulator‑ and Board‑ready outputs. Support executive leadership on any strategic matters and establish efficient tracking mechanisms for strategic priorities Demonstrate regulatory compliance knowledge to perform data analysis and prepare presentations by synthesizing multi-source inputs into clear insights and materials Assist in preparation for senior leadership meetings, governance forums, and regulatory exams by coordinating inputs, developing regulatory exam materials, and enhancing consistency of messaging Enterprise or functional expert, requiring broad managerial and deep specialized knowledge at the enterprise, business, and industry levels with the ability to provide extensive regulatory insights Collaborate with other lines of business and corporate divisions to develop a deep understanding of critical issues, manage high priority strategic initiatives, and advance, track, and coordinate execution of high-priority initiatives Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies and effectiveness Support the development and maintenance of leadership reporting, dashboards, and management routines Generally accountable for a significant business management area that typically has enterprise-wide impact or accountability Undertake and complete a variety of complex initiatives requiring seasoned specialist knowledge and/or the integration of cross functional processes and multiple stakeholder perspectives Position typically deals with senior/executive management Prior Regulatory Compliance experience a strong preference Focus on longer-range planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater) while managing execution of near term and ad hoc prioritiesEducation & Experience:
Undergraduate degree 10+ years relevant experience Qualifications Prior Regulatory Compliance experience strongly preferred. Prior management consulting experience a plus. Demonstrated experience developing executive‑level PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership; experience supporting Board or regulatory presentations is highly desirable. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise executive messaging. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, operate independently, and drive outcomes in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment.Customer Accountabilities:
Contributes to the strategic direction of the business management function and plays a key role in the development and implementation of strategies in support of the overall business strategy Plans, leads / manages and/or oversees a diverse set of work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas Leads / manages the integrated implementation of policies / processes / procedures / changes in across multiple functional areas Provides direction and/or input to complex, wide ranging enterprise or cross-function / business projects/initiatives as a subject matter expert and where necessary participates in identifying, designing and testing solutions and supporting the implementation Facilitates key discussions and provides thought leadership to executive audience (output is roadmap and/or strategic plan/ deliverables/frameworks/ short to long term goals etc.) Leads partner to management / leadership and respective teams for area of specialization with industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness; recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying issues and opportunities and recommending action to senior management Works effectively with multiple teams across a broad spectrum of initiatives and functional domains, influencing others as neededShareholder Accountabilities:
Adheres to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to business management activities for own area Actively manages relationships with corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements Keeps abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts to the Bank Assesses / identifies key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders where required Maintains a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure an in alignment with risk appetite Ensures business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and physical control of assets) Participates in cross-functional / enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations Leads relevant governance meetings or committees and related deliverables / outcomes Leads / facilitates and/or implements action/remediation plans to address performance/risk/governance issuesEmployee/Team Accountabilities:
