Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will manage essential financial records, oversee accounting processes, and support administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, experience with various financial software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties Maintain accurate financial records through data entry and transaction processing using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar systems. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections while reconciling accounts regularly. Prepare journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify financial accuracy. Generate financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for management review. Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and supporting audit preparations as needed. Requirements Proven bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. Experience with corporate accounting practices; familiarity with non-profit accounting is a plus. Knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis. Ability to prepare accurate journal entries and manage general ledger accounting tasks. Strong spreadsheet skills for data analysis and report writing. Familiarity with financial concepts including GAAP standards and financial statement preparation.
