Job Description
The Nevada Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking a dynamic and impact-driven leader to serve as the Division Administrator for the Office of Traffic Safety (OTS). This an unclassified position located in Carson City, Nevada. Operating as the state's federally recognized Highway Safety Office, OTS drives the programs, policies, and partnerships that safeguard millions of motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists across Nevada. Under the direction of the Deputy Director, the Division Administrator oversees the complete modernization and execution of Nevada's traffic safety network. Managing a highly complex, technical ecosystem of federal grants, public advocacy, and critical data infrastructure, the Administrator holds the authority to shape long-range statewide policies aligned with the Governor's ultimate vision: Zero Fatalities.
