Provide administrative support to Pastor, clergy, staff and volunteers
Sacramental record maintenance including intake, document preparation, distribution, etc.
Maintain calendars for Pastor and Parish
Assist with event scheduling
Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized files (database and paper); entering new parishioner data, updating parishioner information as needed
Prepare weekly bulletin; distribute and publish as required
Prepare documents such as funeral programs, weekly worship aids, new parishioner welcome packets, etc.
Lead and attend bi-monthly staff/volunteer meetings
Oversee parish volunteer
Process and maintain financial records for Mass intentions
Maintain parish security alarm records; distribute codes and keys
Order supplies and oversee equipment maintenance
Required Skills:
Respect for the teachings and traditions of the Roman Catholic faith
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all office records
Must be familiar with office equipment and coordinate with Diocesan technology department (phones, computers, copiers, etc.)
Proficient in Google Office Programs (shared G-mail, Calendar, Drive, Youtube)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with CANVA, Zoom
Ability to maintain Parish Data Systems (PDS) for parishioner membership, letters, reports, bulk mailings and assign permissions with volunteers
Maintain an understanding of Diocesan policies.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work; strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent as well as 2 years of office experience
