Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and personable Full-Time Business Office Manager to oversee the daily financial and administrative operations of our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in ensuring smooth business office functions, maintaining accurate billing and financial records, and providing excellent support to residents, families, and staff. •Candidates must be professional, approachable, and experienced in long-term care administrative operations!! Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business office, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all administrative functions Manage resident billing, including Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, and insurance claims Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances in a timely manner Coordinate with admissions and clinical teams to ensure accurate payer source documentation Maintain accurate resident financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Assist residents and families with billing questions in a clear, supportive, and professional manner Prepare financial reports, census reports, and other documentation for leadership as needed Supervise and support business office staff, providing guidance and training when appropriate Ensure adherence to facility policies as well as state and federal regulations Collaborate with the facility Administrator and department leaders to support overall operational goals Qualifications Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare business office operations preferred Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing processes Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Proficiency with billing systems and Microsoft Office applications Exceptional communication and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
