Job Description

Shepherd Home a two bed end-of-life comfort care home in Penfield NY is seeking a part time Office Manager to assist in the day to operations. This position helps create an organized, welcoming and home like environment where staff and volunteers can remain focused on providing quality comfort care residents and meaningful support to their families. The Office Manager oversees daily office functions, maintaining organizational records and databases , supports communications and fundraising activities, and assists the Executive Director with the administrative needs of Shepherd Home. The Office Manager will also support the Volunteer Coordinator when needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day to day administrative and business operations of Shepherd Home.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and other team members as needed.
  • Maintain organized and accurate electronic and paper records.
  • Respond to telephone calls, emails, visitors, and general inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
  • Assist with correspondence, reports, meeting materials, mailings and other organizational communications.
  • Maintain office systems, procedures, calendars, and administrative workflows.
  • Work with Donorsnap, GoMerchant, and other organizational platforms to support other database accuracy and functionality.
  • Follow established procedures for entering and maintaining donors, resident, volunteer, and community contact information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

$22.00
