Robert Half Permanent Placement is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Tonawanda, NY on their search for an Office Manager to lead a small but high-performing team. This is an in-office role with starting salary of $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring Customer Service, Warehouse, and Services teams operate efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with company policies and values Lead and develop staff through onboarding, training, coaching, performance reviews, accountability, and ongoing professional development Ensure consistent customer service and experience while collaborating closely with the sales team and supporting customer needs Manage quotes and orders through SAP and HubSpot, including required reviews, reporting, and follow-up on order profitability and other key metrics Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for phones, customer service, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and other critical office functions Monitor accounts receivable, service commissions, nonconformances, and operational reports, taking corrective action and following up on issues as needed Maintain facility operations, office equipment, supplies, vendor/landlord relationships, and proper opening/closing procedures Ensure compliance with established processes, reinforce company standards and culture, and serve as a key point of contact with the outside sales team and other branch locations Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities with a high level of integrity, accountability, reliability, flexibility, attention to detail, and customer focus required Strong organizational, problem-solving, and business skills with the ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage tasks with minimal follow-up is highly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP and HubSpot experience preferred but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer service, teamwork, relationship building, and creating a positive work environment Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
