This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and maintaining an efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, experience in customer service and human resources, and the ability to handle various office management duties effectively. Responsibilities Provide clerical support by managing correspondence, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies. Assist in training development for new employees and provide ongoing support to enhance team performance. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately and dealing with current and potential clients. Manage budgeting activities, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports on a weekly basis. Utilize QuickBooks for invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record keeping. Oversee schedule management to ensure effective time allocation for meetings and appointments. Maintain accurate files and records to support organizational efficiency. Collaborate with human resources on employee onboarding processes and maintain personnel records. Manage medical office operations if applicable, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards. Plan and coordinate events as needed to foster team engagement and company culture. Conducting payroll on a weekly basis. Skills Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Experience in training development with the ability to create engaging learning materials. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and staff. Proficient in budgeting practices with a solid understanding of financial management principles. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software for financial tracking purposes. Exceptional schedule management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills for maintaining files systematically and efficiently. Knowledge of human resources practices related to employee management and compliance. Experience or knowledge of the landscaping industry is a plus but not required.
