Overview Join our vibrant community as a Church Office Administrator, where your organizational skills and positive energy will be the heartbeat of our church's daily operations. In this dynamic role, you will serve as the central hub for administrative functions, ensuring smooth communication, efficient scheduling, and seamless event coordination. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will foster a welcoming environment for staff, congregation members, and visitors alike. Responsibilities Manage the church's calendar, scheduling meetings, events, and appointments with precision and foresight. Oversee office operations, including filing, record keeping, and handling confidential information with integrity. Coordinate logistics for church events, including planning, and onsite setup to ensure successful gatherings. Handle multi-line phone systems and communication with professionalism and warmth. Manage vendor relationships for supplies and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions. Utilize Microsoft Office tools and spreadsheets to prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations that keep the team informed. Maintain office equipment by arranging for service when needed. Requirements Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a church office setting is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with familiarity with database systems. Demonstrated skills in event coordination, calendar coordination, and team supervision. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and exceptional phone etiquette. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining organizational efficiency. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience managing multi-line phone systems and scheduling tools is preferred. A proactive attitude with a passion for serving others and supporting community initiatives through excellent customer service. $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
