Job Description

ACCESS OHIO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
is looking for an experienced, energetic Office Manager to provide leadership for our outpatient behavioral health offices located in Dayton, Ohio. Position will be Full Time, Monday-Friday. 40 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish team atmosphere through leadership and employee development.
  • Completes operational requirements by managing employee schedules and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts as they arise. Ensure that office staff are following written company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and the coordination of ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain internal and external compliance requirements, HIPAA Compliance.
  • Manage staff training, employee follow through and documentation of client and/or outside agency/customer complaint calls while working directly with the Leadership Team.
  • Escalate critical issues in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to make decisions based on best information at the time; explains decisions to others and honors them; acts in a timely fashion; demonstrates flexibility and creativity in finding solutions; takes appropriate risks.
  • As a member of Access Ohio Leadership, keeps the CEO and other management team members informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends (office productivity, billing, and employee attendance).
  • Participates in continuous quality improvement activities that contribute to the ongoing management, adherence and planning for funding, accreditation and licensing site visits ( Joint Commission, OMHAS, Medicaid, etc.
).
Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a medical office setting.
  • 2 years in a supervisory or management position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of regulations related to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
  • Human resources experience in hiring, supervision, and performance reviews
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and labor law
  • Knowledge of maintaining supplies and equipment for the medical setting.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with prescribers, nurses, administrative staff and patients.
Requirements:
Valid Ohio Driver's License Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple offices in Dayton Clean urine drug screen upon hire (zero tolerance policy) Background check upon hire
