Job Description

Office Support Supervisor FT, Monday-Friday, 1st Shift The office staff supervisor manages daily administrative operations and leads a team of clerical or support workers to ensure workplace efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Office Support Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the front desk for both Clark and Madison Counties. Responsibilities include hiring, orientating and managing front desk staff, ensuring efficient patient check-in and check-out processes, handling scheduling and administrative tasks, and addressing patient inquiries. This position also ensures that the front desk complies with healthcare regulations and maintains a professional and welcoming environment. This role is essential for maintaining smooth administrative operations and providing excellent patient service. The Office Support Supervisor works as a bridge between leadership and staff in maintaining a functioning front desk. This position requires travel to all MHS facilties as needed. In addition, the following skills are preferred: Knowledge of health care practices preferred Managing workflow in a busy medical environment. Ability and understanding to coordinate patient care with all other providers. Ability to motivate teams and resolve disputes. Clear verbal and written correspondence. Multitasking and schedule management. Experience with computers, databases, and office software. Education/Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Associate's degree in related field (Preferred) 3-5 years' experience in healthcare administration/registration/billing preferred Licensure/Certifications Valid drivers license and automobile insurance coverage
NVCI CPR
(BLS)/First Aid MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff, along with on-going education and on-the-job training opportunities. All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children), 5-panel drug screen and 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment.
