Our bookkeeper ensures the company's financial records are accurate and compliant. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, daily financial entries, and reconciliations, and overseeing payroll. You will perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments. Excellent organizational and data entry skills, knowledgeable in basic accounting and financing are all required.
Responsibilities:
Maintain records of financial transactions Calculate payroll and process on time Ensure all state and payroll taxes are paid Understand chart of accounts and proper categorization of expenses Maintain financial records by archiving transaction history Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information Complies with federal, state/provincial, and local legal requirements Filing financial reports and advising management on needed actions Contributes to team effort by handling additional administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience Working knowledge of office software and equipment Knowledge of Quickbooks and ADP payroll a plus Thorough understanding of office management procedures Excellent organizational and time management skills Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving The positions on this website, unless otherwise indicated, are posted by Budget Blinds® franchisees.
