Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Business Office Manager to oversee the administrative and operational functions of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical office management, healthcare administration, and team supervision. This role involves managing financial processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting efficient clinic operations to deliver exceptional patient care and administrative excellence. Responsibilities Oversee fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing processes to ensure financial health and compliance. Supervise healthcare administrative staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team. Manage medical records, electronic health records (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance with HIPAA standards. Coordinate with clinical staff to streamline patient management workflows using patient management software and EMR/EHR systems. Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, health regulation policies, and compliance standards including HIPAA and managed care regulations. Oversee human resources functions related to medical administrative support staff including hiring, training, and staff development. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing patient inquiries efficiently while supporting clinic operations. Implement office management procedures that optimize workflow efficiency within a healthcare practice environment. Experience Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in managing teams within a clinical setting. Demonstrated expertise in fiscal management, budgeting, and financial oversight specific to healthcare facilities. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing practices, and health regulation policies. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix; familiarity with electronic health records management is essential. Prior supervisory experience supervising healthcare staff including nurses or administrative personnel. Strong understanding of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA regulations and managed care policies. Experience working in diverse clinical environments such as dental clinics or acute care settings is highly desirable.
