This role follows engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules to complete a variety of short-run jobs in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate has solid machining knowledge, works well independently, and takes pride in safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and fine-tune CNC milling and turning machines. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements. Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job. Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Edit offsets and make minor program adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements. Maintain compliance with

quality standards and internal work instructions. Complete required documentation and inspection records. Qualifications and Skills Hands-on CNC machining experience required. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, hand gauges). Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English, including safety rules, operating procedures, and manuals. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and complete a physical exam if required. Experience with Mazak programming, G-code, and GD&T is a plus.
