Assistant Office Manager -
Meadville, PA Pay:
Starting at $17.00+/hour , based on experience
Position Overview:
Infinity Resources is seeking a dependable and organized Assistant Office Manager for a manufacturing company in Meadville, PA. This position provides administrative and human resources support while assisting with day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will have previous office and HR experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support Provide administrative support to management as needed. Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed. Assist with purchasing and general office operations. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents. Perform a variety of additional administrative duties as assigned. Human Resources Support Assist with recruiting and interviewing candidates. Help coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation. Maintain confidential employee records, including: Hiring documentation Benefits information Performance reviews Personnel changes Assist with employee communications regarding benefits and company programs. Help prepare reports related to attendance and employee retention. Provide administrative support for HR-related activities and projects. Production & Reporting Print, review, and distribute production reports. Review production statistics and make data corrections as needed. Enter production downtime information into company databases. Prepare monthly incentive spreadsheets and related reports. Safety & Office Coordination Participate as a member of the company's safety committee. Assist with coordinating office activities and maintaining an organized work environment.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of office or Human Resources experience . Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software. Basic math skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
PHR or SPHR certification. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with HR processes, employee onboarding, or personnel record management.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods. Frequent use of hands for typing, filing, and office equipment. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to perform work requiring close attention to detail.
Work Environment:
Office environment with a generally quiet noise level. Team-oriented workplace with regular interaction between office and production personnel.
