Job Description
Office 365 Administrator (W2 Only, No C2C) TEKsystems $40.00 - $50.00 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Michigan, Marshall May 15, 2026
- Key Responsibilities
- Microsoft 365
Administration:
- Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including user, group, and license management.
- Perform regular audits of licenses to ensure proper allocation and cost optimization.
- Monitor service health and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications.
Microsoft Teams & Collaboration:
- Administer and configure Microsoft Teams to enable conferencing, live events, and other collaboration features.
- Manage Teams policies, including messaging, meetings, and calling settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Teams functionality, such as audio/video problems, connectivity, and meeting access.
Security & Compliance:
- Enforce security policies within the Microsoft 365 environment, including setting up Conditional
- Access, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and other security controls.
- Utilize Microsoft Purview to implement data loss prevention (DLP) policies and eDiscovery for compliance and governance.
- Monitor security reports and audit logs to identify and respond to potential threats or policy violations.
Integration & Support:
- Ensure the seamless integration of Microsoft 365 with other platforms and services, such as onpremises Active Directory or third-party applications.
- Provide expert-level support and guidance to end-users on how to eectively use Microsoft 365 applications, with a focus on Teams.
- Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Microsoft 365 or Office 365 Administrator.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell for administration and automation.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration and its conferencing capabilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft security and compliance features (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Conditional Access).
- Understanding of identity management and directory services (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID).

- This is a Contract position based out of Marshall, MI.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
