Job Description:
Office Manager & Bookkeeper We are looking to hire a full-time Office Manager & Bookkeeper to support our entrepreneurial owner of Kari Whitman Interiors, a luxury interior design firm based in Boulder, CO. This role is for someone who moves quickly, stays exceptionally organized, and takes full ownership of their work. You should be the type of person who keeps everything running smoothly without being asked twice and someone who anticipates needs, tracks every detail, and gets things done efficiently and accurately. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, naturally create order out of complexity, and take pride in being reliable and on top of everything, this role will suit you well.
What You'll Do:
Run day-to-day office operations with speed and precision Own HR processes including onboarding, payroll, and staff coordination Manage bookkeeping and financial tracking across multiple projects using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (no QuickBooks) Ensure billing is accurate, organized, and always on time Monitor expenses, purchases, and company credit cards, including reconciliations Step in wherever needed to keep operations moving forward
What We're Looking For:
Someone highly organized and detail-oriented who doesn't let things slip Fast, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy Confident working independently with minimal oversight, or collaboratively when needed Advanced proficiency in Google Drive (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets) and Microsoft Excel Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Comfortable handling time-sensitive issues, occasionally outside standard hours Able to work in-office full-time (no remote work) and comfortable around dogs
Experience:
5+ years in office management, HR, and bookkeeping strongly preferred
Schedule & Expectations:
In-office role (Boulder, CO) Typical schedule falls within 10am-7pm, Monday-Friday Expect 40-50 hours per week, with flexibility to stay late or come in early when needed Occasional evening or weekend responsiveness may be required Compensation $75,000-$85,000 annually, depending on experience Health insurance Performance-based bonuses
