The Office Manager oversees the daily administrative functions of the office and provides support to the Controller and Accounting Department. This position ensures office operations run efficiently and serves as a backup for key accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the plant office. Provide administrative support to the Controller and plant management. Serve as backup for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. Assist with invoice processing, payments, customer accounts, reconciliations, payroll processing, and timekeeping as needed. Maintain accurate accounting, administrative, payroll, and plant records. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other financial or operational information. Coordinate general office needs, supplies, correspondence, and administrative functions. Work closely with Accounting, HR, Production, Shipping, and other plant departments. Cross-train in all key accounting functions to provide coverage during vacations, absences, and staffing needs. Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, financial, and company information. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications Previous office management, administrative, or accounting experience required. Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll strongly preferred. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required, including the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, use formulas, analyze data, and prepare reports. Experience with ADP required/preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) required/preferred. Manufacturing, food processing, or poultry industry experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidential information
