Job Summary:
Responsible for overall management of practice Full Time 20-29 hours per week Essential Duties and Responsibilities Directs day to day operations of physician office and staff to include ongoing review and evaluation of operational issues (works with MSO leadership team and group practice to ensure compliance with existing Liberty Doctors policies and procedures). Recommends and implements measures to improve performance and increase efficiency in the office including policy, budget, and other practice related issues. Work closely with patients, physicians, and office staff; and to communicate effectively with each while maintaining a positive attitude Accountable for the supervision of all non-physician staff Responsible for the oversight of all inter-office business and clinical operations Human Resource management to include hiring, employee relations and compliance with company policies in coordination with company compliance officer. Responsible for daily reconciliations/bank deposits and will submit them to the cash processing department. Submission of Invoices to Accounts Payable department Information management to include: liaison with information technology services and telephone systems. Risk management to include, OSHA & CLIA compliance issues, patient safety, HIPAA compliance and patient satisfaction. Work with MSO Quality Director to stay compliant on quality initiative projects Professional responsibility to include knowledge & leadership skills, ethical standards, staff motivation, Initiates and facilitates staff meetings. Attends educational seminars and activities, which benefit the practice. Compliance Officer for the site and will report to the compliance officer of the company.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required Proficiency in verbal communication in English and understanding of written English. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated problem solving skills in a complex environment. Demonstrated effective interpersonal relationship and customer service skills. Good organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Education and Experience Undergraduate college degree in related field. Minimum of five years of business management experience ; 5 years of Office Manager experience preferred General knowledge of medical office and private practice.
