Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented, and experienced professional to fill the role of Office Manager/Bookkeeper for our family operated real estate brokerage and property management firm. This position is critical to the smooth financial and administrative operation of our company. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills, a strong bookkeeping background, and a proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage the company's general ledger and ensure accurate financial record keeping. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliation and balancing. Process and manage all accounts payable Manage company payroll processing, including all necessary deductions and disbursements. Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax reports (e.g., 941s). Prepare and generate monthly financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Income and Expense Statements, and Trial Balance, for management review. Assist external accountants with year end preparation and tax filings. Manage office supplies inventory and vendor relationships. Handle various administrative duties as required to support the brokerage and property management teams. Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience with a strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, preferably within the real estate or property management industry Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online . Must be experienced in setting up, maintaining, and reconciling company books. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial transactions and record-keeping. Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity. Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills.
