Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Install Manager to oversee our installation team(s) and ensure the successful execution of installation projects. The Install Manager will coordinate all installation activities, manage client relationships, and ensure that projects are completed on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Core Duties and Responsibilities Customer Communication:
- Clear, timely and professional communications with our clients.
- Provide consistent updates on project status with clients and sales team.
- Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a polite, respectful, and professional tone in all communication on and off job site.
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Plan and review schedule for installation projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Collaborate with Project Manager, Sales Team, Customer Service to align project goals.
- Review pre-installation checklist and floor plans.
- Assess the resources needed (manpower, materials, equipment) for the project.
Install Team Management:
- Install Manager must lead, motivate and develop their team while maintaining high standards of performance and safety.
- Coordinate/Review with Project Manager on all delivery and installation.
- Ensure your team(s) understands their task and has all the required equipment to complete the job.
Trouble Shooting & Problem Solving:
- Assess the situation, inform project manager and sales team members.
- Review project documents, layouts, and identify discrepancies.
- Address issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing disruption and ensuring project success.
Training & Support:
- Product knowledge across multiple furniture lines and manufacturers
- Reading floorplans, blueprints, and installation specifications
- Project scheduling and crew coordination
- Installation best practices and quality standards
- Safety training and compliance (e.g., OSHA)
- Use of project management and inventory tracking tools
- Collaboration with project managers, sales teams, and vendors
- Access to installation manuals and technical resources
- On-site problem solving and issue resolution
- Ongoing vendor and product training updates
- Continuous improvement and process support Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in bilingual customer service
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Furniture Installation or Construction experience
