Position Overview:

The Office Manager plays an important role in keeping our Fort Worth office running smoothly and supporting the teams that deliver engineering and environmental services to our clients. This leadership opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with people, and taking ownership of day-to-day office operations. You'll gain hands-on experience with administrative processes, reporting, employee support, and office coordination while learning how our business operates and contributing to the overall success of the Fort Worth branch.

Responsibilities:

Maintain office productivity, supply ordering, equipment maintenance, event planning, and policy compliance. Prepares invoices, proposals, and reports, and supports collection processes, as needed. Maintatining and coaching direct reports. Collects, records, and forwards personnel records, transactions, and documentation to HR and/or Payroll. Supports benefit plan enrollment at the site level. Responds and/or investigates employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages. Create regular reports, correspondence, and presentations. Greet visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and provide general information. Communicate with internal and external partners and vendors, as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma with 3-5 years of administrative experience (or equivalent). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic collaboration tools. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and multitask in a dynamic environment Familiarity with administrative practices in professional services preferred.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities. However, occasional travel may be required, up to 10%, primarily for occasional off-site meetings, training sessions, or company events. Travel, when necessary, will be communicated in advance and aligned with business needs.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to work at a desk for extended periods while using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment. The position involves sitting for extended periods, performing data entry, and engaging in frequent communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions. The role involves regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, both in person and through virtual platforms. The physical demands of the job may include occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds.
