Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the company's financial records, ensure accurate bookkeeping practices, and support daily office operations. Your expertise in accounting systems and financial software will help maintain seamless financial workflows and uphold compliance with accounting standards. Duties Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel and Microsoft Word. Process payroll, handle accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations to ensure precise financial data. Organize and maintain all bookkeeping files, supporting documentation, and audit-ready records. Assist with office administration tasks such as managing spreadsheets, handling correspondence, creating job binders, filing and supporting owner with daily organization. Qualifications Proven solid and verifiable experience in bookkeeping AND office administration. Strong proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks Excel and Microsoft Word. Solid understanding of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. Experience with payroll processing, bank reconciliation, account analysis. Excellent skills in spreadsheets (Excel), 10-key typing, and data entry accuracy. Knowledge of GAAP standards . Ability to perform detailed account analysis and reconcile accounts efficiently while adhering to accounting standards.
