Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and guest services at the Courtyard by Marriott Houston I-10 West/Park Row. The ideal candidate will ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process, manage guest inquiries, and maintain high standards of service excellence. Proficiency in Power of M and Stay PMS systems is essential to efficiently handle reservations, billing, and administrative tasks. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties Supervise and coordinate front office staff to deliver exceptional guest service experiences. Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs using Power of M and Stay PMS systems with accuracy and efficiency. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Oversee daily front desk operations, including billing, room assignments, and administrative tasks. Train and motivate team members to uphold service standards and improve operational efficiency. Monitor occupancy levels and assist in revenue management strategies. Maintain a clean, organized front desk area that reflects the hotel's standards of excellence. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and operational flow. Ensure compliance with safety policies and hotel procedures at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in front office management or hospitality supervisory roles. Strong knowledge of Power of M and Stay PMS systems is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team and resolve conflicts diplomatically. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and administrative tasks. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Pay:
