Guards on Call Guards on Call is seeking an experienced, dependable, and professional Patrol Officer / Field Supervisor to support our San Antonio operations. This position combines mobile patrol responsibilities with field supervision, new-site setup, officer accountability, and emergency coverage. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can work independently, respond quickly to staffing needs, and ensure officers in the field are meeting company and client expectations. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols at assigned client locations throughout the San Antonio area. Perform random supervisory site checks on security officers currently on duty. Verify officers are present at their assigned posts, alert, actively working, and completing all required duties. Ensure officers are wearing the proper company uniform and maintaining a professional appearance. Confirm officers are completing required patrols, checkpoint scans, reports, and other site-specific responsibilities. Address performance or compliance concerns in the field and communicate issues to management. Assist with new security site setups , including reviewing post orders, establishing checkpoints, confirming officer access, and helping ensure the site is operational before or during launch. Train and provide guidance to officers assigned to new or existing locations. Serve as a point of contact for officers who need assistance while on shift. Fill in for officer call-outs and emergency coverage when necessary to maintain proper site coverage. Respond to urgent staffing or operational situations as directed by management or Dispatch. Monitor buildings, parking areas, gates, entrances, exits, and surrounding property for suspicious or unauthorized activity. Check for trespassing, theft, vandalism, property damage, unlocked doors, safety hazards, and other security concerns. Maintain a visible security presence to help deter criminal activity. Complete accurate Patrol Tour Reports, Supervisor Reports, and Incident Reports . Take clear photographs and properly document site conditions or incidents when required. Communicate with Dispatch and management regarding incidents, staffing concerns, officer performance, or client issues. Follow and enforce all company policies, client post orders, and site-specific procedures. Qualifications Valid Texas security license appropriate for the assigned duties. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Previous security patrol or supervisory experience strongly preferred . Experience training, supervising, or providing direction to security officers is a plus. Ability to travel between multiple assigned locations during a shift. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable addressing performance and policy concerns professionally. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable using mobile applications for reports, checkpoint scans, photographs, and communication. Reliable transportation. Must be dependable, punctual, flexible, and responsive. Must be available to assist with call-outs, new-site launches, and emergency coverage as needed. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs. Must successfully complete all required background and employment screening. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who can be trusted to represent management in the field.
