full-time About the Role Are you a numbers person who also loves keeping a team organized and running efficiently? We are seeking a versatile, full-time Finance & Office Administrator to join us onsite at our Bluffdale office. In this role, you will own our day-to-day financial workflows and serve as the go-to person for office management. You will handle everything from core accounting operations in QuickBooks Online to managing our IT vendors, welcoming new employees, and tackling special projects as they arise.
Key Responsibilities Financial Management:
Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) using QuickBooks Online.
General Ledger:
Perform routine account reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounting.
Tax Compliance:
Oversee and manage state sales tax remittance utilizing Avalara; send 1099s to vendors.
IT & Systems Administration:
Serve as the primary liaison with our external IT service provider and manage the provisioning and tracking of SaaS licenses for all team members.
HR Support:
Facilitate smooth employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Office Management:
Ensure the Bluffdale workplace runs seamlessly, which includes monitoring and restocking office supplies.
Ad Hoc Projects:
Assist leadership and team members with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
2 to 4 years of proven, hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
Software Proficiency:
Strong experience with QuickBooks Online is required; prior experience with Avalara is highly preferred.
Tech-Savviness:
Comfortable navigating SaaS administration and effectively communicating technical needs to an IT vendor.
Work Style:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a dynamic, fast-paced onsite environment.
