Job Description

Loudoun Test Prep is a highly-rated, locally focused tutoring company specializing in small-group and individual SAT/ACT prep, where mentorship matters as much as scores. We are seeking dynamic, motivated, and personable individuals to join our team in providing administrative support to our tutoring staff. This is an immediate-start, part-time position. We are looking for candidates of varying availability, and preference will be given to those interested in pursuing a long-term relationship with our company. As a Office Administrator for Loudoun Test Prep, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: maintaining a friendly atmosphere by welcoming students, proctoring practice tests, taking student attendance, and providing administrative support to the tutoring staff.

Hours:

Hours are subject to change depending on the needs of the staff.

Monday-Thursday:

5:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Saturday/Sunday:

10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Compensation:

$20/hr. All candidates participate in 3-4 shifts of training/shadowing (typically 4 hours each).

•Potential for full-time salary depending on performance

•Hours per week: Between 15-25 hours per week, depending on candidate availability.

As an Office Administrator, you will handle various tasks, including: Managing the proctoring team's schedule, inventory, and office operations. Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff. Proctoring student practice tests, taking attendance, and collaborating with the Operations Director on maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

Open and close the facility for tests, classes, and events. Greet students and parents upon arrival. Assist tutors and the operations team by creating documentation as needed. Manage office supplies, HVAC, and equipment, ensuring everything is maintained. Supervise and guide proctors in fulfilling their tasks. Maintain cleanliness in the lobby, classrooms, and kitchen. Proctor practice tests, grade them, and print results for tutors. Take attendance for individual and group sessions. Print homework results and test packets for student binders. Monitor and replenish office supplies. Coordinate proctor tasks, overlapping shifts, and planning for upcoming projects. Act as a liaison between proctors, tutors, and the administrative team. Train and onboard new proctors as needed. Ensure reliable transportation to and from the facility.

Qualifications:

Experience working with people in a service industry is highly desirable
