Job Description
Using our accounting software (Sage 50, formerly Peachtree), record all financial transactions such as sales, purchases, and payments.
- Using other software for Service Orders and Invoices for knowledge of complete office procedures
- Management of accounts payable and receivables.
- Cross referencing all internal purchase orders with vendor's invoices to ensure consistency between the two.
- Timely payment of all accounts payable and management of prompt payments from the receivables account is paramount in this position.
- Timely response to all garnishments, possibility of Unemployment payments,
- Weekly processing of payroll to include associated payroll taxes, 401K payments, child support, and Garnishments.
- Management of all Government Contracts from RFQ to Final Invoice
- Monthly reporting to CPA firm for account reconciliations.
- Quarterly and yearly tax payments.
- Management of contact and other relevant information for all vendors, customers, and employees.
- Management/Purchase of office and installation supplies.
- Management of all business related licenses, building expenses, vehicle expenses/maintenance, insurances etc.
- Management of all Access Badges for Government Customers
- Outside of the "standard" office manager and bookkeeping roles listed above, other roles include:
- Answering phones and assisting customers, vendors, etc with their over the phone requests.
- Assisting customers with their questions, etc
Experience:
Two Years of Bookkeeping / Accounting Experience required.Benefits:

$22.00- $28.
