Westminster Presbyterian Church (WPC) is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Manager to support the day-to-day administrative life of the church. The Office Manager serves as a central point of coordination for the church office and works closely with the Pastor, Treasurer, staff, church leaders, members, volunteers, and others who use the church building. The position combines general office administration with financial recordkeeping, preparation of weekly worship and congregational communications, maintenance of church records, and support for church programs and facilities. This is a good fit for someone who enjoys varied work, takes pride in keeping details organized, communicates well with people, and is comfortable working independently within established procedures.

October 1, 2026, or sooner if available for transition and training Primary Responsibilities The Office Manager will: Manage the day-to-day operation of the church office, including phone calls, email, mail, calendars, correspondence, files, and routine administrative needs. Support the church's financial administration by recording contributions and deposits, processing bills and payments, maintaining supporting records, and coordinating documentation with the Treasurer. Prepare the weekly worship bulletin and help coordinate its review, printing, and distribution. Prepare and distribute recurring congregational communications, including the weekly newsletter, Sunday worship information, and volunteer reminders. Maintain attendance, membership, giving, birthday and anniversary, and other church records using Realm and related systems. Prepare acknowledgments and correspondence related to memorial gifts, stock gifts, giving statements, and other contributions. Prepare and upload weekly sermon audio for podcast distribution. Assist with church calendars, facility use, vendors, building users, and routine office and building needs. Support preparation of quarterly giving communications, annual reports, directories, mailings, and other periodic church projects. Provide administrative support to the Pastor and church leadership as needed. These responsibilities reflect the recurring administrative, financial, worship, membership, facilities, and reporting work documented in WPC's current office procedures. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage recurring deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A professional, welcoming, and courteous manner. Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with church staff and volunteers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software and online systems. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred. Experience with church-management software, Mailchimp, website editing, or similar tools helpful but not required. Comfort working with basic financial records and numerical information. The position also requires someone able to support the mission and ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church and to interact thoughtfully with members, visitors, volunteers, staff, and the broader community.
